Cas has been in the hairdressing business for 20 years born (1976) in Tilburg.
I've worked with Ton Reijnen in Tilburg. Ton taught me to appreciate the profession, Vidal Sassoon, form and art. After working there for 13 years, I almost took over the salon there. This eventually didn't happen.
I then decided to move to Amsterdam where I started as a chair renter at SALONB.
In the two years that I worked there, I got to know Robert. Eventually we started Hoofdbureau Amsterdam together and became the co-owner of Hoofdbureau in Amsterdam. Now I'm ready for a new adventure; WESTSIDE.
Motto: I don't really have a motto, but try to step a little outside your comfort zone one's in a while. Know that everything at one point comes to an end. So why not try something new? Like a different haircut, or a little change in your hair color?
Inspirations: I look at people in the streets, art, fashion, jewellery and also interior design.
I love imperfections; so I like industrial designs, wabi sabi, artisanal clothing, things that you can see, are made by a human or is 'lived-in, high-tech, very streamlined things and very perfectly shaped, machine-made. And I really love it, when you see these two combined.
Team: Important for me with the team is that we can work together, help and inspire each other and learn from each other, while having a good time doing it.
If there is a good vibe, the work delivered will be better in my opinion.
